Membership Requirements:
Active Members:
Sheriffs, Chiefs of Police, Officers and Investigators and all other persons who are engaged in the science of identification and investigation, and who are bone fide employees of and receiving salaries wholly, or in part from National, State, County, or Municipal governments, or sub-divisions thereof.
Associate Members:
All reputable persons, wholly or partially engaged in any of the various phases of the science of identification or investigation, and who are not qualified for Active Membership, are eligible to become Associate members.
Student Members:
Student members shall consist of all persons who are full-time college students at an accredited college or university with a major in a law enforcement and/or forensic science related field. To be considered a full-time student. the individual must not be a member of this association and must not be employed by a law enforcement agency.
